The Philosophy

The aim of Human Resources within the Australian operations of the CCI Group is to provide innovative, effective procedures and policies to enhance the efficiency of the organization whilst assisting in the provision to employees of an environment within which they can grow and perform to the best of their ability.

To this end,

  • CCI will attract, support and retain quality employees who add value to our organization.
  • Appropriate training and other employee services will be available as support to employees.
  • Communication within the Company will include, but not be limited to,
    • Safety meetings
    • Toolbox talks
    • Branch meetings
    • Branch Managers’ meetings
    • State meetings
    • Letters to employees from the Managing Director with all employees also having the facility to instigate communication with any other person at any level within the Company.
  • Our employees will deliver excellent customer service to both our external and internal customers.
  • Our customers will be made aware of the value we place on quality people carrying out their work.
  • CCI will do more than just comply with legislation in relation to our people, we will encourage contribution and analysis of our operations from any of our staff willing to participate in such exercises.
  • CCI will be fair in its dealings with its employees to ensure they are comfortable and optimistic about the Company.
The Practice
  • ESAT- The Employee Share Scheme
    • At the discretion of the Board of Directors, an allocation of shares in CCI Holdings is made to each eligible employee.
    • Value of the parcel can be up to 2% of ordinary time earnings.
    • All full-time employees with more than 2 years’ service participate. (Casuals with more than 5 years continuous service also participate.)
    • Shares held in trust until the employee leaves the Company, at which time the shares are transferred to them personally.
    • The staff scheme is currently in the top ten shareholders.
  • Job Share and Flexible Hours
    • In order to suit our employees requirements in relation to family and other matters, job share and flexible hours are offered where practicable.
  • Education Assistance

    To assist our employees to gain further qualifications, this program:

    • Reimburses employees for fees paid to tertiary organizations for approved courses and on satisfactory completion of such course or designated subject(s)
    • Provides for study leave and examination leave.
    • Company reimbursement is required should the employee leave within a nominated period after completion of the course/subject.
  • Internal Promotion

    All vacancies are advertised internally to provide an opportunity for employees to apply.

  • Employee Assistance Program
    • Free, professional, confidential counseling service.
    • Provided to all employees and immediate families
  • Remote Location Allowances

    Additional payments attached to specified positions and locations.

    Provision of training/mentoring of identified employees, whereby:
